Here you’ll find a lot of information on books, including the ability to buy both ebooks and hard copies. Bev will sign the hard copies, even!
The main thing about this site is that it details more information on the books before you make the choice to buy them. There are tropes, tags, and trigger warnings on each book listing. It is highly recommended that you check these out if you do have triggers or special interests.
All these books have multiple genres. They’ve been categorized into broad categories which are the primary categories of the books. All books (unless stated otherwise) contain romance sub-plots and various levels of spice. If you’re looking for pure romance, these probably aren’t the books for you. The romance is there to support the plot, not the other way around.
Most of all, these books are queer centric. The main characters are usually non-binary or some other form of queer. As a queer person, Bev strives to represent as many voices as they can. I like this story and the characters, it has a darkness to the story but also some light, I think there is some unnecessary dialogue in this book and that it could be shortened a bit, but overall I enjoyed this part of the story and with the cliffhanger I can’t wait to read part two of this story.
Lots of beautifully complicated characters with a wide variety of issues, mental health struggles, a variety of genders (not just the two basics), sexualities and kinks. Lovely potential for a slowly developing poly relationship. Sometimes the sheer number of characters and complications could be a little overwhelming and this is packed with triggers but for me the rest of the series has great potential.
Such a beautifully written, compelling storyline following Bellamy's journey that completely captivated me from beginning to end. Really enjoyed this first book and so looking forward to the next one!.
Dark and the Sword(Legacy of the Phoenix #1) by Beverly L. Anderson is the first book of the series and I enjoyed reading it. The gods have been missing for almost a millennium. The world has become mundane with little magic and less hope. Then something happens that changes things starting with a failed murder. This starts off a quest with help found along the way, to restore the gods before the thousand years are up. If not there will be major consequences.
