The realms of science fiction are many and varied. There are a lot of ways to venture into these worlds. From aliens to space ships and alternate realities and other realms, there are beauties and terrors beyond imagining in the wider universe.
They built a machine to save the world. It promised unlimited energy to a world straining to survive a debilitating energy crisis.
Instead, it broke reality.
When the Quantum Energy Bridge Stabilizer tears open the fabric between dimensions, four realms collide with Earth, and the Nexus awakens. Breaches now spread worldwide, creatures emerge, and humanity’s hope rests on a man who knows the truth and a being never meant to exist.
The Nexus opened for a reason.
Closing it will demand a price.
Every being in the universe desires freedom. Whether they are human or any of the numerous alien species that humans have come in contact with since first contact with the Datamind, they desire freedom.
With the ability to leave Earth and Earth's solar system, humans have spread into the galaxy where alien species thrive and form alliances with each other. While there is no war within the galaxy, all species know one day that may change. Some are wary of humans, and with good reason. Some humans are out only for themselves even in this future age.
With individuals still driven by corruption, greed, and sadism, humankind may not have come as far as it would like. Still; among humans, there are many who push back against those that bring about destruction and harm to others in the galaxy. These people want only to spread peace among all, and increase freedom for those who need it. For that reason, they are the backbone of the Freedomverse.
