Chains of Fate Books

Doctor's Training is the beginning of Chains of Fate. It's the launching point of the Healing Bond's universe. There are mysteries and crime and more in these books, and quite a bit of BDSM smut to entertain you. I don't call it romance, because it has more to do with the plot than the subplot of romance, but it is definitely the subgenre.

Doctor's Training

When desperate criminals find an easy target in the autistic doctor, Kieran Sung, they do not realize the scope of their actions. They see the awkward and oblivious doctor as a way to get themselves out of trouble with the St. Louis Irish mob boss, Rian Callaghan. Callaghan, though, sees something he greatly desires in the young doctor, something innocent, something he can destroy.

Unknowing of the fact that Kieran has made friends with some people that can help him, he takes his chance to take something precious from Kieran. Devan Sullivan, one of his trusted associates, is not as trusted as he seems, and ends up breaking the young doctor out of Callaghan’s clutches with the help of Varick Jaeger and Carmine DeAngelo, two men who have become enamored from afar with the doctor.

What follows is shocking revelations about a secret family line Kieran knows nothing about, and connections between himself and his childhood best friend Artemis Seath and his family. To escape the coming wrath of Callaghan, Kieran, his allies, and the Seath family lock themselves in a safe house few know about in Chesterfield. Stuck there, they help the doctor heal from his trauma, and work through a lot of things. Things, however, are not as safe as they seem, and the allies turn out to be enemies in some of the worst ways.

After suffering at the hands of the enemy, Devan has his own path of healing to walk, and eventually the entire war between Rian Callaghan and a fellow mob boss that works out of St. Charles comes to a crushing conclusion, with the revelations of secrets, lies, and much more.

Stolen Innocence

Doctor's Training, Part One

Kieran Sung has spent his life building order out of chaos, rigid routines, careful structure, a career that rewards precision. As an autistic neurosurgeon, he knows exactly who he is and what he needs. Then an Irish mob boss makes him a target, and everything he built shatters overnight.

Rescued by people he barely knows, a tattoo artist, an actor, a bartender, and the childhood friend who never stopped watching out for him, Kieran is pulled into a world that operates nothing like his own. A world centered on a place called the Dungeon, where the pressure and binding he's quietly craved his whole life aren't shameful secrets. They're a language.

Healing isn't linear. Neither is love. And the crime syndicate that shattered his life isn't finished with any of them.

Stolen Innocence is the first book in the Doctor's Training Trilogy, a kink-positive, polyamory-affirming crime drama featuring an autistic lead, D/s dynamics, and a found family who fights like hell for their happy ending.

Safe Haven

Doctor's Training, Part Two

Healing doesn't happen on a schedule, and Devan Sullivan knows that better than anyone. Helping Kieran recover means confronting the parts of his own past he's spent years burying, and there's nowhere to run when you're locked inside a mansion built to keep dangerous people out.

The Seath estate was designed to protect the children of Irish mobster Damien Seath from the world their father built. Now it's sheltering an unlikely pack of misfits, a doctor, a bartender, a tattoo artist, an actor, and a family tangled up in crime they never chose. Walls that were meant to divide keep pulling people together instead.

Outside, the FBI is trying to prevent an all-out war between rival mob bosses Rian Callaghan and Liam O'Brien. But not everything about that rivalry is what it appears to be.

Safe Haven is the second book in the Doctor's Training Trilogy, a kink-positive, polyamory-affirming crime drama where found family is forged under pressure, D/s dynamics deepen, and the threat closing in from outside is more complicated than anyone expected.

Blooming Camellia

Doctor's Training, Part Three

In the chaos after the attack on the Seath safe house, the future of the Seath family and the four individuals they want to protect hangs the balance. In the middle of this turmoil, Dr. Kieran Sung, the young doctor caught at the heart of the crisis, begins to reevaluate his life and the choices he has made. Through his efforts to help Devan Sullivan, the latest victim in the escalating conflict that spiraled from Kieran's own kidnapping, a powerful bond begins to form between them. Together, with the rest of the pack helping, they navigate the path of healing and recovery, discovering that their journey connects more deeply than they ever anticipated. As they confront the soul-wrenching clash between mob bosses Liam O’Brien and Rian Callaghan, they find themselves not just fighting for survival, but also for a sense of purpose and hope in despair.

Even after everything, the pack can’t imagine life without each other. The bonds they formed in the safe house are even stronger after they’ve left it. With tragedy happening all around them, they seek to find safety with each other. Their separate lives are not what they used to be, and everyone, but most especially Kieran, find that living the old way of life is not feasible any longer.

Blooming Camellia, the final part of the Doctor’s Training Trilogy, is a story of healing that examines D/s culture, the complexities of polyamory, and how people often deal with mental and physical trauma. Follow Kieran, Devan, Varick, Carmine, and the rest of their pack as they navigate a world that rarely accepts people who do not fit in with expectations.
